Permanent magnet frequency conversion screw air compressor is a common equipment in the air compressor market. With the increase of usage, the failure of air compressor frequency converter is more and more. The difference between the frequency conversion screw air compressor and the ordinary screw air compressor lies in the application of the frequency converter, which is precisely because of the frequency converter. It can be realized according to the size of the production gas automatically change the host speed, to reflect the change of system pressure, and maintain a stable system pressure so as to achieve the purpose of energy saving. In the actual use process, the permanent magnet variable frequency air compressor is prone to the following faults:
1. The high temperature of the frequency converter of the permanent magnet frequency conversion screw air compressor leads to the alarm shutdown of the unit. Countermeasures Check the amount of lubricating oil, whether the cooling channel of the inverter is blocked, whether the cooling fan is damaged, and repair it in time. Secondly, keep the unit running environment good ventilation.
2. The blockage of the air duct of the inverter itself or the blockage of the air duct of the control cabinet will affect the heat dissipation inside the inverter and cause the inverter to overheat alarm. Regularly maintain the frequency converter and remove the air duct garbage to avoid blockage or damage of the air duct cooling fan. When the inverter cooling fan cannot work normally, a large amount of heat will accumulate inside the inverter and cannot be dispersed. Check the cooling fan of the inverter and replace it in time if it is damaged to avoid other damage to the air compressor.
3. When the inverter load is too heavy, it will generate excessive current and a lot of heat, and sometimes the inverter will overheat and alarm.
Increase the capacity of the inverter and reduce the load.
4. For frequency conversion failure caused by voltage instability, confirm the input voltage to ensure voltage stability.
5. Check whether the inverter alarm caused by the main motor fault is normal.
