The oil contains too much water will cause the emulsification of the lubricating oil, affecting the safe operation of the machine, mainly causing poor lubrication of the compressor host, and at the same time making the oil and gas separation effect worse, causing the air compressor parts to rust.

Therefore, while paying attention to the replenishment or replacement of lubricating oil, we should also pay attention to the frequent discharge of condensed water, and the condensed water discharge schedule should be formulated according to the humidity and temperature.

In general, it is recommended that the screw air compressor should be discharged once a week, and it should be discharged once every 2-3 days in high temperature or high humidity climate. The discharge of condensed water needs to be carried out after the air compressor is shut down, there is no pressure in the oil and gas separation tank, completely cooled, and the condensed water is fully precipitated. It is a good time before starting the machine. First, unscrew the front screw plug of the ball valve at the bottom of the oil and gas separation tank, then slowly open the ball valve for drainage, then oil will flow out, close the ball valve, and finally screw on the front screw plug of the ball valve. The discharge of condensed water can be carried out smoothly, and now many devices are using electronic drainers, which is relatively convenient and quick.
