for screw air compressor, for non-maintenance-free motor bearings, the filling cycle of motor grease is once every 2000h of operation. The filling amount varies with different motors. The specific filling amount needs to refer to the motor nameplate, where the maintenance cycle and the type and amount of grease filling are given in detail.

Grease filling and precautions

before adding grease, it is necessary to check whether the oil drain of the motor is unblocked. If the pipeline is blocked, it will cause too much grease in the bearing, increase the friction torque, increase the temperature rise too fast, and damage the bearing. In addition, adding too much grease will easily cause short circuit caused by coil contact grease, which needs to be filled regularly and quantitatively.

In addition, before filling, check whether there is foreign matter and dust at the oil filler to prevent the grease from being brought into the bearing to reduce the efficiency of the grease or cause damage to the bearing.

After the filling is completed, the temperature of the motor bearing needs to be monitored. Generally, the maximum allowable temperature of the motor rolling bearing does not exceed 95 ℃. If the temperature rise is too high in a short time after refueling, it is necessary to conduct grease discharge treatment immediately and reciprocate for many times until there is no waste oil discharge temperature to maintain stability.
