(4) When the air compressor suction port or unit cooling air suction port is located indoors, the indoor ambient temperature should not be greater than 40 ℃.

(5) If the factory environment is poor and dusty, pre-filtering equipment must be installed to ensure the service life of the air compressor system parts.

(6) When a single compressed air station with a displacement equal to or greater than 20m 3/min and a total installation capacity equal to or greater than 60 m 3/min, it is appropriate to set up lifting equipment for maintenance, and its lifting capacity shall be determined according to the heaviest part of the air compressor unit.

(7) Reserve passage and maintenance space. According to the requirements of the GB50029-2003 Design Specification for Compressed Air Station, the width of the passage between the air compressor unit and the wall shall be 0.8~1.5m according to the displacement.

2. Matters needing attention in compressed air pipeline

(1) When piping the main pipeline, the pipeline must have an inclination of 1 ° ~ 2 ° to facilitate the discharge of condensed water in the pipeline.

(2) The pressure drop of the piping shall not exceed 5% of the service pressure of the air compressor, so it is better to choose the piping larger than the design value. The calculation formula is as follows:

(3) The branch pipeline must be connected from the top of the main pipeline to prevent the condensate in the main pipeline from flowing down to the working machine or back to the air compressor.

(4) Do not arbitrarily reduce or enlarge the pipeline. The pipeline needs to use a tapered tube. If the tapered tube is not used, there will be a spoiler at the joint, which will cause a large pressure drop and adversely affect the life of the pipeline.

(5) If there are purification buffer equipment such as air storage tank and dryer after the air compressor, the ideal piping sequence should be air compressor + air storage tank + dryer. The gas tank can be partially cold.

Condensate filtration, but also has the function of reducing gas temperature. The lower temperature and less water content of compressed air re-introduced into the dryer, the dryer load can be reduced.

(7) Minimize the use of elbows and various valves in the pipeline.

(8) The ideal piping is that the main pipeline surrounds the entire plant, so that compressed air in both directions can be obtained at any position. For example, when the gas consumption of a branch line suddenly increases,

pressure drop can be reduced. In addition, in the ring main line should be equipped with appropriate valve set, in order to facilitate the maintenance of the cut-off.

(9) When the air output pipelines of multiple air compressors are connected in parallel, the air compressor output does not need to be equipped with a check valve.

3. Foundation of air compressor

the foundation of the air compressor should be built on hard soil, and the foundation level should be leveled before installation to avoid vibration. If it is installed upstairs, anti-vibration measures must be taken, otherwise the vibration will be transmitted to the downstairs or resonance will occur, which will easily cause harm to the air compressor and the building. Generally, the vibration speed of the screw air compressor is below 11.2 mm/s (belt drive) and 7.1mm mm/s (coupling drive). No special discussion can be made to build a platform foundation with a height of about 120mm and a length and width slightly larger than the bottom area of the air compressor to facilitate sewage discharge.

4. Cooling system

The air inlet is located in the lower part of the machine room, and the air outlet is located in the upper part of the machine room to facilitate the circulation of cold air. Generally speaking, the intake and exhaust air volume must be greater than the air compressor heat dissipation and exhaust air volume.

5. Power system air compressor power distribution, must ensure the correctness of the power supply voltage

according to the power of the air compressor used, choose the correct power line diameter, do not use a small power line, otherwise the power line will be burned due to high load and high temperature. The power line shall be a multi-strand copper core cable, with one phase of the three-phase four-wire system as the ground wire. It is best to use a set of power system alone, especially to avoid parallel use with other large power consumption systems, otherwise it may be due to excessive voltage drop or three-phase current imbalance, which may cause the main motor of the air compressor overload and shutdown, high-power air compressor should pay special attention.

And the power supply network load should be uniform, the voltage fluctuation is within 5%, and the three-phase voltage imbalance is allowed to be within 1%. There can be no connection point between the power distribution cabinet and the power supply cable of the air compressor. Select the appropriate air switch according to the power of the air compressor to maintain the safety of the power system and maintenance.
