However, the quality of the air filter is precisely the most easily overlooked problem among users of screw air compressors. Many people do not attach importance to the quality of the air filter and think that as long as it can be used, only when the air filter is deformed and the air compressor fails, they will know how bad the inferior air filter is, and he does not know what is the cause, just replace the air filter.

Whether the air filter quality is good or not is not simply a matter of price, nor is the more expensive the better, but usually the air filter price of good quality will be relatively higher, but it will not be too far apart (the air filter price of high quality PU glue will be about 20-30% higher, and the air filter price of high quality iron cover will be about 40-50% higher). The most important thing is to learn how to distinguish the air filter quality in order to get good quality, the price is not particularly high air filter, screw air compressor air filter quality is not good, mainly depends on three aspects:

we all know that the air contains a lot of water, especially in rainy days, the water content in the air will be higher. Once the air filter has poor waterproof performance, the air filter is easy to get damp, and the air filter is Fl. 1. Water detection, this is also the most critical and simplest method to identify. For the inexperienced, water is the best way to detect the quality of the air filter. Put the air filter flat on the ground or on the table, and sprinkle it on the filter paper. Some water:

(1) If the filter paper seeps into the water within 5 minutes, it is an air filter made of cotton pulp paper and absolutely cannot be used. This kind of goods are mostly produced in Hebei, and this kind of goods are used by a few cheap people in the screw air compressor industry.

(2) If the filter paper that seeps into water within 2-5 hours is made of low-grade wood pulp paper, it can be used, but it will affect the scavenging efficiency of the screw air compressor (more power consumption and less pumping). As the air filter made of this filter paper is relatively low in price, it can also be used on the screw air compressor (more power consumption and less pumping are wasted customers' money), so the air filter paper in the air compressor industry now accounts for the mainstream, the vast majority of screw air compressor shops use this kind of filter paper for air filtration.

(3) If the filter paper seeps in for 12-15 hours, it is a passable filter paper (mid-range filter paper). Usually, the domestic screw air compressor factory with better quality uses the air filter of this type of filter paper as the original consumables.

(4) If the filter paper does not penetrate water for 24 hours, it is definitely an excellent product (high-grade filter paper). Usually, the air filter of this type of filter paper is selected as the original consumable by the high-grade machine factory.

2, to the light to see whether the filter paper is uniform, light transmittance is good, see whether the filter paper surface finish is good, filter paper to the light to observe uniform and detailed, good light transmittance, surface finish is good, indicating that the filter paper filtration accuracy, good breathability (this a simple identification method requires a little experience).

3, look at the depth of the filter paper, the number of folds, if the filter paper is deep, the number of filter paper folds, indicating that the air filter filter area is large, the air filter area is large, the air permeability will be better.

Air filter to achieve good waterproof performance, is not particularly difficult, as long as the use of high-quality wood pulp filter paper can meet the requirements, but the production cost will be slightly higher, the real difficulty is not only to meet the filtration accuracy, but also to meet the air permeability, can meet the requirements of these three aspects is the real good air filter.
