1. Exhaust temperature is too high

high exhaust temperature is the most common fault of screw air compressor, and its harm is also very common. Usually the working temperature of the screw air compressor is between 65 ℃ and 85 ℃, and the maximum exhaust temperature is set at 100 ℃. When this temperature is exceeded, it will automatically stop and sound an alarm. If the equipment is operated under the condition of high exhaust temperature for a long time, the excessive temperature will cause the physical coefficient value of the rotor and bearing material to change, resulting in abnormal friction loss in the bearing, and even the bearing loose ball accident.

Too high oil temperature will also reduce the gas transmission coefficient and increase power consumption, and the viscosity of the lubricating oil will also decrease. Too high a temperature will also lead to the thermal decomposition of the lubricating oil under the catalysis of the metal, forming free carbon and acid which are harmful to the work.

In severe cases, materials and moisture (carbon accumulation) will jam the screws of the entire main engine, or the machine will stop and jump. Although the air compressor is equipped with a protection device to prevent high temperature, the existence of faults will still make the device run frequently and affect the normal operation of the enterprise.
