After the condensed water discharged from the air compressor passes through the oil-water separator, the oil and water will be separated, and there are two main ways to separate the oil.

The first path is recycling. If the separated oil is relatively clean and not mixed with too many impurities and moisture, it can be simply filtered and then added back to the air compressor for further use. This is both economical and environmentally friendly, and many factories do it this way.

The second way is when waste oil treatment. If the oil is already dirty and mixed with a lot of moisture and metal debris, it can no longer be used. At this time, it must be handed over to a unit that specializes in recycling waste oil. It must not be directly poured into the sewer or thrown to the ground. This is hazardous waste, and it will be punished for dumping.

Water lubricated air compressor is much simpler in this matter. Because it uses water instead of oil for lubrication and sealing, the condensed water discharged does not contain oil itself. After passing through the oil-water separator, it basically cannot distinguish any oil. That is to say, the water lubricated air compressor has almost no waste oil to deal with, the subsequent environmental protection pressure is much smaller, and the maintenance is also worry-free.

Therefore, the traditional oil lubrication machine should worry about the recovery and disposal of oil, and the water lubricated air compressor will naturally save this trouble in this step.
