Safety Operation Regulations and Safety Precautions for Air Compressor

2026-04-10Views:

Air compressor is one of the main mechanical power equipment of many enterprises, and it is very necessary to maintain its safe operation.

1 Preparation before driving

(1) Keep the lubricating oil in the oil pool within the scale range, and the brand of the lubricating oil should meet the requirements.

(2) Check the amount of oil in the oil injector and should not be lower than the scale line.

(3) Turn the manual wheel before driving and fill the cylinder with oil. Uniform and sufficient oil droplets should be seen from the oil sight.

(4) After assembly or regular parking, the vehicle must be turned for inspection before the first driving to check whether there is any abnormal sound such as abnormality, impact and jamming.

(5) Remove all items that hinder work on the machine and nearby, and the protective cover should be firmly fixed.

(6) Check whether the exhaust pipe is unblocked, and the air release valve should be opened.

(7) In order to reduce the load during startup, the relief valve should be closed or the oil-water blow-off valve should be opened to keep the discharge pipeline in a pressure-free state.

(8) open the cooling water valve, the water flow should be smooth, no bubbles.

(9) The electrical part should be prepared before starting.

2 driving.

(1) Turn on the current to make the air compressor run under no-load condition.

(2) After the no-load operation is normal, gradually open the relief valve and close the oil-water blow-off valves of the coolers at all levels to make the air compressor run under load.

3 Operation

(1) Lubricating oil pressure is 1~5kg/cm2, not less than 1kg/cm2.

(2) The exhaust pressure should not exceed 8kg/cm2, otherwise the pressure regulator should be checked.

(3) Check that the lubricating oil of the oil pool and the oil injector should be within the scale range, and the oil overflow should not exceed the specified range.

(4) The cooling water should be smooth, uniform, no intermittent, no bubbles, and the water temperature should not exceed 40°C.

(5) The exhaust temperature does not exceed 160 ℃, and the temperature after water cooling does not exceed 40 ℃.

(6) Check whether the current, voltage and motor temperature are normal.

(7) Always check whether the parts are running normally.

(8) Always check whether the suction valve cover is hot and whether the valve sound is normal.

(9) Pay attention to the reliability of various protective equipment.

(10) After 2 hours of operation, the oil and water blow-off valves at all levels shall be opened and blown off, and the oil and water in the steam tank shall be discharged for 1~2 times per shift.

(11) Keep the air filter clean and clean it once a month.

(12) Record the operation once per hour and keep the equipment clean.

(13) If the following conditions are found during operation, the vehicle shall be stopped immediately. ①The lubricating oil is interrupted; ②The cooling water is interrupted; ③The exhaust pressure suddenly rises and the safety valve fails; ④The air compressor or the motor has abnormal sound; ⑤The motor or electrical equipment has abnormal conditions.

4 Normal parking

(1) Close the relief valve, open the cooler and oil-water blow-off valve at all levels.

(2) Turn off the power supply and stop the machine.

(3) Close the cooling water inlet valve, release the water in the cylinder liner and the oil-water separator of the cooler at all levels and the air storage tank, and prevent freezing in winter.

(4) Release the compressed air at all levels of the exhaust pipe.

(5) After the power is cut off, it should be restored to the state before the change.

(6) When the air compressor stops for more than 10 days, sufficient lubricating oil should be injected into each friction surface.

5 Security techniques

(1) When the compressor inlet and exhaust pipes are long, they should be fixed to avoid vibration.

(2) The fasteners of pressure vessels such as gas storage tanks and coolers shall be subject to safety inspection and appraisal once a year.

(3) The gas pipeline, valve and gas storage tank shall be cleaned once every 0.5 years.

(4) The exposed rotating parts (pulleys, etc.) of the compressor shall have safety covers.

(5) Always check whether the grounding wire of the motor part and the electrical part is in good condition.
