Does the air compressor belong to special equipment?

the gas tank does not necessarily belong to special equipment. Whether it belongs to special equipment mainly depends on its storage medium, pressure and volume. The reasons are as follows:

special equipment refers to boilers, pressure vessels (including gas cylinders, the same below), pressure pipes, elevators, lifting machinery, passenger ropeways, large amusement facilities and special motor vehicles in the field (factory) that involve life safety and high risk. In November 2014, the AQSIQ published the newly revised catalogue of special equipment, which describes the pressure vessels as follows:

pressure vessel refers to a closed equipment containing gas or liquid and bearing a certain pressure. Its scope is specified as gas with a maximum working pressure greater than or equal to 0.1MPa (gauge pressure), liquefied gas and liquid with a maximum working temperature greater than or equal to the standard boiling point, fixed vessel and mobile vessel with a volume greater than or equal to 30L and an inner diameter (non-circular section refers to the maximum geometric dimension of the inner boundary of the section) greater than or equal to 150mm; contain gas cylinders with nominal working pressure greater than or equal to 0.2MPa (gauge pressure) and the product of pressure and volume greater than or equal to 1.0MPa · L, liquefied gas and liquid with standard boiling point equal to or lower than 60 ℃; Oxygen chamber.

From this it can be seen that:

1) If the gas storage tank does not meet the conditions of the pressure vessel, the tank is not a pressure vessel, so it may not be used as special equipment. If the gas in the gas storage tank is compressed air, the pressure is less than 0.1MPa, and the volume is less than 30L, it is not a pressure vessel and may not be managed as special equipment.

2) If the gas storage tank meets the conditions of the pressure vessel and belongs to the pressure vessel, the gas storage tank is a special equipment. If the gas tank gas is compressed air, the pressure is 1MPa, and the volume is 2000L, it is a pressure vessel and should be managed according to special equipment.
