The difference between the cold dryer and the suction dryer after the use of the water lubricated air compressor

The post-processing equipment of the air compressor, the cold dryer and the suction dryer are one word different. Although the functions are similar, the use characteristics and the demand environment are very different. This time we will analyze the characteristics of the cold dryer, the difference between the cold dryer and the suction dryer, and how to make the right choice.

1. There is no compressed air consumption during operation of the cold dryer: if the equipment used by most enterprise users does not require high dew point of compressed air, the use of the cold dryer will save more energy than the suction dryer;

2. There is no wear of valve parts in the cold dryer: the suction dryer has the problem of switching valve. Although there are valve parts in the cold dryer, there is basically no wear problem;

there is no need to add or replace the adsorbent regularly;

4, the operation of low noise; suction dryer adsorption tower pressure relief noise, in the air pressure room, generally do not hear the operation of the cold dryer noise;

5, daily maintenance is relatively simple, as long as the automatic drain filter can be cleaned on time;

6. The pre-pretreatment requirements for the gas source are not high, and the general oil-water separator can meet the requirements of the air intake quality of the cold dryer;

compared with the adsorption dryer, the "pressure dew point" of the compressed air treated by the cold dryer can only reach above 0°C, so the drying depth of the gas is far less than that of the suction dryer.
