Poor screw oil will cause the following problems:
- poor lubrication performance: Cause insufficient lubrication of the host, accelerate the wear of parts, shorten the service life of the equipment, and even damage the host in severe cases.
- Thermal conductivity reduction: The heat absorption capacity decreases, which increases the operating temperature of the unit. On the one hand, it will accelerate the deterioration of the oil, on the other hand, it will greatly shorten the service life of the oil filter core and the oil and gas separation core.
- oil deterioration gel: After the unit is stopped for cooling, the deteriorated oil may get stuck on the main engine, causing the main engine to be overhauled, increasing maintenance costs and downtime.
- Oil ignition point decreased: It is easy to form spontaneous combustion of oil, causing compressor combustion accidents, posing a serious threat to the safety of equipment and personnel.
- Sealing performance deteriorates: Reduce the unit gas production, resulting in energy loss, increase operating costs.
- Clogging of oil and filter: After the oil deteriorates, the oil content and the oil filter are blocked faster, resulting in a shorter replacement cycle and increasing maintenance frequency and cost.
- Coking phenomenon: Inferior screw oil is easy to emulsify because the quality does not meet the standard, resulting in carbon deposition, resulting in oil filter and oil blockage. If coking is not handled in time, it may cause serious carbon deposition, main engine stuck, deflagration and other accidents.
- Affect equipment efficiency: Long-term use of inferior screw oil will cause long-term wear on the surface of the rotor and various parts, increase fuel consumption, and reduce the efficiency and performance of the air compressor.
- Causes blockage of oil circuit and oil ring: Inferior engine oil has poor ability to dissolve particulate matter, and excessive accumulation of particulate matter is easy to produce sludge, which will block the oil circuit and oil ring and affect the normal operation of the equipment.
