Starting sequence of air compressor

The starting sequence of the air compressor can be slightly different according to different types of air compressors, but the following basic steps are usually followed:

turn on the main air switch: This is the first step to start the air compressor to supply power to the entire system.

Turn on the air switch of related equipment: Under the main air switch, there are usually air switches for air compressors, cold dryers, exhaust fans and other equipment. These switches need to be turned on one by one.

Start the air compressor:

first, open the emergency stop switch on the air compressor operation panel.

Press the reset key to remove the possible alarm.

Then, press the green start button to start the air compressor.

Open the drain valve of the air storage tank: after draining the accumulated water for about 5 minutes (subject to draining the accumulated water in the air storage tank), close the drain valve.

Start the cold dryer: after the air compressor is started, press the start button on the operation panel of the cold dryer to start the cold dryer, and the green indicator light of the cold dryer should be on at this time.

In addition, for some types of air compressors, such as screw air compressors, some additional preparations may be required before starting, such as checking the lubricating oil level, belt tightness, and whether the fastening bolts are loose. At the same time, pay close attention to the running status of the air compressor during the start-up process to ensure its normal operation.
