Treatment method of oil-injected screw air compressor after coking

The main function of compressor lubricating oil is to lubricate and seal the male and female rotors and bearings. In addition to lubricating, cooling and sealing the mechanical parts, it also plays a role in cooling the compressed gas.

However, in actual production work, if the lubricating oil coking will seriously affect the working efficiency of the compressor, when the coking is found, it should be dealt with in time.

(1) Slight coking phenomenon:

the exhaust temperature is high, the site has a bad smell, the current increases, the compressor oil viscosity increases, the acid value increases, the inner wall of the oil barrel has a small amount of asphalt-like coking, the system has more sludge, the oil filter is frequently blocked, the head rotor has paint film, etc.

Treatment method: replace the new oil, can be added online carbon cleaning agent, with new oil cleaning system after adding new oil.

(2) serious coking phenomenon:

the compressor cannot be started after shutdown, there are asphalt-like substances in the head, the head is stuck, the inner wall of the oil barrel has asphalt-like substances, and the compressor oil is honey-like.

Treatment method: change the oil in strict accordance with the oil change procedure.

If there is coking and deterioration in the used oil, it means that the used oil has been seriously aged (abnormal increase in viscosity and acid value) and the same type or compatible compressor oil needs to be replaced as soon as possible.

Operation method: empty the old oil under the hot engine state, and then add the carbon deposit cleaning agent to run for 48 hours, and empty the cleaning agent under the hot engine state. Clean the system for one or more times. After the above operations, use new oil to clean the compressor system for one or more times (the number of times of cleaning should be such that the difference between the acid value of the newly added oil and the new oil is not more than 0.1mgKOH/g), then add new lubricating oil, and take the working oil after 30 minutes of operation as the reference sample for filing.
