Screw air compressor fan motor overload reasons

In the process of air compressor maintenance, one of the most common faults is the overload of the motor of the air compressor.

The function of the protection system when the air temperature of the screw air compressor is too high: the air compressor system sets the maximum exhaust temperature to 100 ℃, and if it exceeds 100 ℃, the system will cut off the power supply by itself. Common reasons for excessive exhaust temperature: the cooler pipe is blocked; the cooler fin is blocked by dirt; the cooling fan stops running; the ambient temperature is too high; the amount of oil is small.

Then the main motor overload of the screw air compressor is mainly caused by the following:

adjust the exhaust pressure to be higher than the rated pressure of the air compressor.

Motor internal loss and phase-loss operation.

The power supply voltage is too low, the power line is connected.

The main reasons for the overload of the fan electric host are:

the cooler is seriously blocked;

motor internal loss and phase-loss operation;

the power supply voltage is too low and the power line is unconnected;

when the phase sequence of the three-phase power supply connected to the air compressor is inconsistent with the set phase sequence of the air compressor, the air compressor part starts (LCD: power supply phase sequence is wrong and stops). In this case, it is necessary to exchange any two of the three phases.
