Several matters needing attention in oil-free air compressor

The oil-free air compressor is the main body of the air source device. It is a device that converts the mechanical energy of the prime mover (usually an electric motor) into gas pressure energy, and is a pressure generating device for compressed air.

The following is a brief introduction in the use of oil-free air compressor need to pay attention to several matters, as follows:

1 When the oil-free air compressor is shut down due to power failure, in order to prevent the compressor from starting under pressure, the power-off handle of the pressure switch should be pulled to drain the air in the pipeline and restart the compressor.

2. The user must set up an oil-free air compressor to protect the grounding wire to ensure that all metal shells of the compressor are in good contact with the earth, and the grounding resistance should comply with national standards.

3. The oil-free air compressor should stop running immediately when it finds serious air leakage, abnormal noise and peculiar smell, and can only run again after finding out the cause and eliminating the fault.

4. The air compressor is an oil-free air compressor, and the friction parts are self-lubricating, so do not add lubricating oil.

5. The air compressor must be fixed on a ventilated, stable and solid working surface. In order to reduce noise and vibration, there must be a shock absorber.

6. The filter medium (foam sponge or felt) in the filter should be cleaned every three months, blowing off the dust on the medium, if necessary, wash with water, dry and reuse.

7. The oil-free air compressor shall be maintained at least once a quarter. The maintenance contents include thoroughly removing dust and dirt outside the compressor, checking and fastening connecting bolts at all parts of the compressor, checking whether the grounding wire is in good condition, and checking whether the electrical circuit is aging or damaged.
