Safety measures for air compressor

Air compressor safety measures mainly include the following aspects:

keep the environment around the air compressor clean and dry to prevent the motor from being damp or inhaling dust. Flammable and explosive articles such as gasoline or cotton yarn are not allowed to be stored nearby. There shall be sufficient fire fighting facilities in the machine room and near the gas tank.

Keep the machine properly. If the air compressor is not used, the air and sewage in the air storage tank should be released and stored in a dry environment.

Check the amount of oil in the oil injector, which should not be lower than the scale line. Before driving, it is necessary to check whether there is any abnormality, impact, jam and other abnormal sound.

Remove all articles that hinder the work on the machine and nearby, and the protective cover should be firmly fixed. Check whether the exhaust pipe is unblocked and the air release valve should be opened. In order to reduce the load at startup, the relief valve should be closed or the oil-water blow-off valve should be opened to make the discharge pipeline in a pressureless state.

Open the cooling water valve, the water flow should be smooth, no bubbles. The electrical part should be prepared before starting.

During operation, pay attention to check whether the parts of the machine are running normally, whether the suction valve cover is hot, and whether the sound of the valve is normal. At the same time, we should pay attention to the reliability of various protective equipment and whether the temperature of the motor is in the normal range.

Clean the air filter regularly to keep it clean. At the same time, the oil and water in the gas storage tank should be discharged regularly to ensure the normal operation of the air compressor.

Establish and improve the operating procedures and maintenance system of air compressors to ensure that operators can operate air compressors correctly and safely. Provide necessary technical training and safety education to operators to improve their safety awareness and operation skills.

During the operation of the air compressor, it is strictly prohibited to carry out any form of maintenance or adjustment work. If maintenance or adjustment is required, the machine must be shut down and the power supply must be cut off.

For oil-free air compressors, special attention should be paid to prevent overpressure from starting. The use pressure and safety pressure relief value of the air compressor have been set when leaving the factory. Overpressure is strictly prohibited to prevent the explosion of the gas storage tank.
