Air compressor temperature has been rising for the following reasons:
poor ventilation and heat dissipation around the air compressor. It may be that there are other heat sources around the air compressor, which causes the fan to fail to form a strong airflow, so that the air compressor temperature is too high.
The environment around the air compressor is dusty. This will cause a layer of dust to adhere to the surface of the radiator, and the internal is also easy to block and affect the heat dissipation, resulting in the temperature of the air compressor after the radiator is blocked.
The oil filter in the compressor is too dirty. The resistance oil cannot enter the compressor normally, so that the cooling oil is not enough and the temperature rises rapidly, resulting in the air compressor temperature being too high.
The air compressor adopts special compressor oil. If other oil with low label or poor quality is used, the back viscosity and specific heat will not reach the standard, resulting in excessive temperature.
The fan tape is cracked or loose. This will reduce the speed of the fan rotation, affect its heat dissipation effect, resulting in the air compressor temperature is too high.
Oil/gas separator core is too dirty. When the oil and gas separator core is too dirty, the oil will affect the circulation due to excessive resistance, resulting in overheating and shutdown.
Exhaust pressure exceeds rated pressure. Long-term operation causes the compressor and the diesel engine load to be too heavy and heat up, resulting in the shutdown of the air compressor and the temperature is too high.
Low cooler efficiency, lubricating oil aging failure, oil temperature sensor failure and poor coordination of moving parts may also lead to excessive temperature.
Problems such as insufficient oil volume of the air compressor, dirty oil cooler, blocked oil filter core, oil control valve failure (component damage), rupture or aging of the diaphragm of the oil cut-off solenoid valve, fan motor failure, cooling fan damage, poor exhaust pipe or high exhaust resistance (leeward), ambient temperature exceeding the specified range, and temperature sensor failure may also cause the temperature of the air compressor to rise.
To solve the problem of air compressor temperature rise, it is necessary to investigate the above possible causes one by one, and take corresponding maintenance measures.
