Judgment and Elimination Method of Air Compressor Fault

1. Check the air compressor filter. If there is any damage, defect or unclean air filter element, replace the damaged parts in time; check whether the air compressor intake pipe is kinked or deformed to ensure that the intake pipe has the minimum required inner ring diameter (above 15.9mm is recommended).

2. Check the return pipe for excessive bending, kinking and obstruction. It is recommended that the minimum inner diameter of the return pipe is (12mm). The oil return pipe needs to be lowered from the air compressor to the engine crankcase.

3, check and measure the air compressor cylinder liner, piston ring wear and damage and assembly, serious wear should be replaced.

4. For the air cooling part of the air compressor, it is necessary to remove the oil, soot or unclean materials accumulated on the heat sink. Replace the damaged parts; check the damaged heat sink, and replace the damaged parts.

For the water cooling part of the air compressor, check the appropriate cooling pipe size (the minimum diameter of the pipe is recommended to be 9.5mm), check the coolant circulation of the air compressor, and the minimum allowable flow rate is 5 liters per minute when the engine adjusts the speed. If the coolant flow is slow, check the cooling pipes and fittings for accumulated rust, kinks and limiting factors.

5, check the water temperature can not exceed 93 ℃. Check the air valves on the air reservoir to ensure that they are operating properly. It is recommended that the vehicle be equipped with an automatic exhaust valve. An air drying device for drying the air is appropriately provided in front of the air reservoir.

6. When the brakes of the vehicle are not used, the leakage cannot exceed 6.9千帕 pressure drop per minute, and 20.7千帕 per minute when the brakes are used. If there is too much leakage, check the system for air leakage and repair. Check if the unloading system is working and repair.

7, test the engine crankcase pressure is too high, replace or repair the crankcase ventilation equipment. Loose or partial lifting of the dipstick indicates a problem with the pressure in the crankcase.

8, check the engine lubrication pressure (air compressor oil inlet), and compared with the rated pressure.

9. Replace qualified lubricating oil.
