Start and stop sequence of air compressor and cold dryer

The start and stop sequence of the air compressor and the cold dryer is very important during the operation to ensure the normal operation of the equipment and extend the service life. The following is the start and stop sequence of air compressor and cold dryer:

start sequence:

air compressor startup:

first, turn on the main air switch.

Then, turn on the corresponding air switches of the air compressor, the cold dryer and the exhaust fan.

On the air compressor operation panel, turn on the emergency stop switch, press the reset button to eliminate possible alarms, and then press the green start button to start the air compressor.

Cold dryer startup:

open the drain valve at the bottom of the gas tank and close it after draining the accumulated water for about 5 minutes.

Then, press the start button on the operation panel of the cold dryer to start the cold dryer (usually the cold dryer start indicator light will light up).

Shutdown sequence:

shutdown of air compressor:

on the air compressor operation panel, press the emergency stop switch to stop the air compressor.

Cold dryer shutdown:

on the operation panel of the cold dryer, press the stop button to stop the cold dryer (usually the indicator light will go out after the cold dryer stops).

Close the air switch:

turn off the corresponding air switch of air compressor, cold dryer and exhaust fan.

Finally, turn off the main air switch.

Note:

the air compressor and the cold dryer should be started and closed at the same time to ensure the stable operation of the system.

During the start and stop process, pay close attention to the indicator lights and instrument display on the equipment and control panel to ensure that all operations are correct.
