What happens when the air compressor does not drain

The oil and gas separation effect is poor: the air compressor is usually equipped with an oil and gas separator to separate the oil and moisture in the compressed air. However, if too much condensed water is accumulated inside the compressor, the oil-gas separation effect will be deteriorated, and the oil content in the compressed air will increase.

The differential pressure of the oil and gas separator becomes larger: the differential pressure of the oil and gas separator refers to the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the oil and gas separator. If too much condensed water accumulates inside the compressor, it will increase the burden on the oil and gas separator, resulting in a large pressure difference. This will not only affect the normal operation of the compressor, but may also shorten the service life of the oil and gas separator.

Cause corrosion of machine parts: If the condensed water accumulated inside the compressor is not discharged in time, it will cause the humidity inside the machine to increase, thereby accelerating the corrosion process of the machine parts. Corroded parts will not only reduce the performance of the compressor, but also may cause safety accidents.

Affect the normal operation of the equipment: Due to the above problems, the undrained air compressor may also cause the equipment to fail to operate normally or frequently malfunction, affecting production efficiency.
