Whether air compressor belongs to pressure vessel

If the air compressor is an oil-free screw machine, there is no need to consider the pressure vessel inside the machine, because it does not have an oil and gas separation cylinder. If it is a fuel injection screw machine, the oil and gas separation cylinder inside belongs to the pressure vessel.

Generally, it is necessary to handle the notice of commencement and the inspection of the pot. (Please consult the local Technical Supervision Bureau for details) If it is a piston machine, the air storage tank below is a pressure vessel. Inspection is generally required.

If the data and nameplate of the gas storage tank and oil and gas separation cylinder are marked with "simple pressure vessel", it is not required to apply for inspection. If there is a "CS" stamp, it must be reported for inspection.

Generally, air compressors are connected with air storage tanks, which should be regarded as pressure vessels. Air storage tanks are pressure vessels.
