How to choose air compressor in semiconductor industry

In fact, we should pay attention to some principles when choosing an air compressor, so that we can compare and choose what is more suitable for us.

1, to consider the safety of compressor operation.

Air compressor is a kind of machine with pressure work, accompanied by temperature rise and pressure, the safety of its operation should be put in the first place. The state implements a standardized "two certificates" system for the production of compressors, namely, the compressor production license and the pressure vessel production license (gas tank). Therefore, in the purchase of compressor products, it is necessary to strictly review the "two certificates". Usually, the product quality assurance system of the certified manufacturer is perfect, and there will be no major quality problems. Even if there are some problems, the manufacturer will be responsible for the three guarantees.

2, to consider the use of gas occasions and conditions.

If the gas site is narrow (marine, car), should choose vertical; such as gas occasions have long-distance changes (more than 500 meters), you should consider mobile; if the use of occasions can not be powered, you should choose diesel engine drive; if the use of occasions there is no tap water, you must choose air-cooled.

In the air-cooled and water-cooled cooling methods, users often have the wrong understanding that water cooling is good, but it is not. Air-cooled compressors at home and abroad account for more than 90% of small compressors. This is because air-cooled is simple in design and no water source is required for use. The fatal shortcomings of water-cooled compressors are four: there must be a complete water supply and discharge system, and the investment is large; the water-cooled cooler has a short life; it is easy to freeze the cylinder in the northern winter; it will waste a lot of water in normal operation.

3, to consider the quality of compressed air.

Generally, the compressed air produced by the air compressor contains a certain amount of lubricating oil and a certain amount of water. In some cases, oil and water are forbidden. At this time, attention should be paid not only to the compressor selection, but also to the accessory device when necessary.

Solution: First, the selection of non-lubricating compressor. The compressor cylinder contains substantially no oil.

4, should consider the level of exhaust pressure and exhaust volume size.

The discharge pressure of the compressor for general-purpose air power is 0.7MPa, and the old standard is 0.8MPa. At present, there is an air compressor with an exhaust pressure of 0.5MPa in the society, which is unreasonable from the perspective of use, because the pressure margin is too small for pneumatic tools, and the gas transmission distance is slightly longer. In addition, from a design point of view, this compressor is designed for primary compression, and the pressure ratio is too large, which is easy to cause the exhaust temperature to be too high, causing carbon deposits in the cylinder and causing accidents. If the compressor used by the user is greater than 0.8MPa, it is generally necessary to make special manufacturing, and the method of forced pressurization cannot be adopted to avoid accidents.

Exhaust volume is one of the main parameters of the air compressor, select the air compressor to match the required displacement, and leave a margin of 10%. If the air consumption is large and the air compressor exhaust volume is small, the pneumatic tool will cause the air compressor exhaust pressure to be greatly reduced, and the pneumatic tool cannot be driven. Of course, the blind pursuit of large displacement is also wrong, because the larger the displacement, the larger the compressor with the larger the motor, not only the price is high, but also the purchase of funds is wasted, and the use of electricity and energy will be wasted.
