Dry oil-free air compressor may have a variety of failures. The following are some common failures and their possible causes:
current too high:
the host has failed.
Exhaust pressure too high.
The voltage is too low. Since the power of oil-free air compressors is usually rated, too low voltage may cause too high current.
Oil-free air compressor keeps working, but the gas supply is insufficient:
air leakage. Check the external pipes of the air compressor, the air supply pipe of the air compressor on the air storage tank, the check valve, the safety valve, the pressure switch and other connections for air leakage.
Worn nose cup. The service life of the cup is usually about 3 years, and it needs to be replaced.
The rated flow rate is exceeded or the machine is overloaded.
Intermittent operation of oil-free air compressor, insufficient gas supply:
starting capacitor leakage. This causes the compressor head to start slowly, the current increases, the head heats up and stops quickly. The solution is to replace the new starting capacitor and ensure that the UF number is the same as the original.
Insufficient voltage. There will be a buzzing sound when starting, and the running current is too large. Oil-free air compressor head to work at a minimum voltage of 200V, below this voltage head is difficult to start. For areas with frequent voltage fluctuations, it is recommended to install an automatic voltage regulator.
Increased noise:
the air compressor fixing device or accessories are loose.
Abnormal operating current.
The motor bearing is seriously worn.
The cup is damaged.
The air pressure of the air tank needs to be released before each work:
it may be a clogged one-way valve. The one-way valve of the oil-free air compressor is installed between the air outlet pipe of the air compressor and the air storage tank. If dirt gets stuck on the film, it may cause reverse air leakage, which makes the machine head unable to start when it is pressed by high pressure during the second start. The solution is to clean the check valve.
In addition, for dry oil-free air compressors, the following items need to be paid attention to to avoid failure:
observe safety precautions to prevent accidents such as fire, electric shock and personal injury.
Keep the workplace clean and avoid accidents caused by clutter.
Pay attention to the workplace environment, the air compressor should not be left to the wind and rain, do not work in damp and dark places, do not work in places where flammable and explosive liquid gases and dust are stored.
When using the air compressor, avoid touching the grounded objects to prevent electric shock.
