Air compressor is very common in our daily work, mainly used in pharmaceutical manufacturing, food processing, industrial pneumatic equipment, painting, textile, industrial and mining equipment and so on.
The German MAN company's large screw compressor MAN was founded in 1758 and is headquartered in Munich, Germany. It takes its name from the abbreviation of the company's predecessor, the aschinenfabrikugsburg-Nuremberg Machine Works (Austerborg).
It has three major business areas: trucks and buses, diesel engines and turbomachinery are all global leaders. ▲ MAN screw compressor MAN screw air compressor originated from the first oil-free screw air compressor in 1952, which is also a milestone in the history of air compressor development. The rotor diameter of MAN air compressor covers the range of 102mm to 816mm, which is the widest span on the market.

▲ MAN Screw Compressor Screw Air Compressor is an oil-injected single-stage twin-screw compressor. It adopts high-efficiency pulley (or shaft) transmission to drive the main engine to rotate for air compression. The compression chamber of the main engine is cooled and lubricated by oil injection. The air and oil mixed gas discharged from the compression chamber are separated by coarse and fine processes to separate the oil in the compressed air, and finally clean compressed air is obtained.
The core component of the screw air compressor is the compressor host, which is one of the positive displacement compressors. The air compression is achieved by the volume change of the tooth grooves of the male and female rotors that are parallel to each other in the casing. The rotor pair rotates in the casing that is precisely matched with it, so that the gas between the rotor teeth continuously produces periodic volume changes and pushes from the suction side to the discharge side along the rotor axis, completing the suction, compression, and exhaust Three working processes.
Therefore, the twin screw rotor type line technology determines the screw air compressor product positioning grade.
▲The structure of screw air compressor The screw air compressor is divided into three working processes: suction, compression and exhaust.
Inhalation process: When the rotor rotates, a tooth of the male rotor continuously breaks away from a tooth slot of the female rotor, the volume between the teeth gradually expands and communicates with the suction orifice, and the gas enters the volume between the teeth through the suction orifice until the volume between the teeth When it reaches the maximum value, it is disconnected from the suction orifice, the volume between the teeth is closed, and the suction process ends. It is worth noting that the volumes between the teeth of the male and female rotors are not in communication with each other at this time.
Compression process: the rotor continues to rotate. Before the volume between the teeth of the female rotor and the male rotor is connected, the gas in the volume between the teeth of the male rotor is compressed first by the invasion of the teeth of the female rotor. After a certain angle, the volume between the teeth of the female rotor and the male rotor is connected to form a "V"-shaped volume between the teeth (primitive volume). As the two rotor teeth squeeze into each other, the primitive volume is gradually moved, the compression process of the gas is realized.
Exhaust process: due to the rotor rotation of the element volume continues to shrink, the compressed gas to the exhaust pipe, this process has continued until the volume of the minimum. With the continuous rotation of the rotor, the above-mentioned suction, compression, and exhaust processes are cyclically carried out, and each cell volume works successively, forming the working cycle of the screw refrigeration compressor.
