What is the meaning of air compressor displacement

Air compressor displacement refers to the volume of air that the equipment can compress and discharge per unit time, usually expressed in cubic meters per minute (m & sup3;/min) or cubic feet per minute (CFM). This indicator reflects the theoretical supply capacity of the equipment, I .e. the total amount of compressed air that the air compressor can deliver to the air consumption system per minute.

The displacement volume is determined by the structural parameters of the air compressor, such as the cylinder working volume and speed. In actual work, the exhaust volume should be considered together with the working pressure: under the same working pressure, the larger the exhaust volume, the more compressed air provided by the equipment per unit time, which is suitable for scenarios that require a large amount of continuous gas consumption, such as factory pneumatic production lines or sand explosion rust removal operations.

It should be noted that there is a difference between the exhaust volume and the actual output flow, which is affected by factors such as pipeline resistance and gas equipment status. Appropriate redundancy shall be reserved according to the total demand of gas equipment during selection to ensure stable operation of the system.
