Air compressor pressure regulation

The method of adjusting the pressure of the air compressor mainly depends on the type of air compressor. However, in general, the pressure of the air compressor can be adjusted in the following ways:

adjust the safety valve:

Replace the nozzle or adjust the nozzle hole size:

the air outlet of the air compressor is usually equipped with a nozzle.

By changing nozzles of different sizes or adjusting the size of the nozzle hole, the speed of the air outflow can be changed, which in turn affects the output pressure.

Spring-Resettable Regulating Valves:

if the air compressor regulating valve is a spring-resettable type, the pressure can be adjusted by rotating the knob on the top of the valve.

Rotation up generally increases the pressure, while rotation down reduces it.

When adjusting the pressure of the air compressor, the following points should be paid attention:

safety first: Be sure to confirm that the equipment has been powered off before adjustment and wait for it to stop running completely to avoid accidents.

Careful operation: Excessive pressure may cause damage to the air compressor and related equipment, so be careful to avoid exceeding the pressure range of the equipment.
